My tv tuner recording wont work on Media Center XP Edition.?

When I try to record some tv shows on Media Center it says "The recording could not be scheduled far an unknown reason. Restart Media Center and try again." I restarted it and everything, and it didn't work. It used to work when i lived in Texas but it wont work here. I can still WATCH TV but not RECORD it. help please??
