when using VCR to record I also get interference on those same channels if I forget to turn off the VCR or DVD players, when just watching TV. I have one of those flourescent reading lamps, that also causes wavy lines on the lower channels, at times. I noticed the other night, on one of the problem channels, that when I muted the TV to use the CC feature, most of the interference went away. The degree of interference fluctuates from moderate to severe, with no discernable pattern. I never had any of these problems until toward the end of 2007. None of the items mentioned are new, but at least two years old, so the specific products are not the problem, from the standpoint of adding something new. The upper channels are fine. In the old days, I would just turn the plug over to "reverse the polarity," but you can't do that anymore. Any ideas? Thank you for any ideas or suggestions.
