I have a baby turtle, his shells a little bigger than a quarter.
I know he's illegal, so don't come telling me about that.
I've had him for about half a year and he's a western painted turtle.
In the six months I've had him the only things ive been able to get him to eat are:
shrimp treats
krill treats
minnows
small swimming bugs
During the winter i can't get the bugs or the minnows so all he eats is treats.
I really want to get him to eat pellets.
Or at least real food.
I've tried getting him to eat lettuce, he won't. I've tried alot of different turtle foods, he just wont try them.
If he does try them he just spits them out.
What can I do to help him get his nutrition?
