my tritton ax pro headset mic volume question ?

WEll i just got it and i put the mic it is like so far from my mouth and you cant bring it close i know theres a way you can increase how loud you talk so how do you do that i kno how to increase adn decrease how loud others talk but what about how loud you talk how do i do that thanks for help
