My tranmission on my 2000 dodge durango is leaking oil is a broke seal, what happen

if I dont replace that s? My tranmission on my 2000 dodge durango is leaking oil is a broke seal, what happen if I dont replace that seals will the leaks get worst? It too much money to get it fix b/c they got to take the tranmiisiion out in order to put the seal on it! Also the rear engine oil seal is leaking too, What should I do? Buy a jappanesse cars?
