I have an 89 Toyota SR5 pickup w/manual trans. I left work and it ran fine but when I shut it off at the bank it wouldn't start. NOTHING no lights no power whatsoever. The bat. and terminals are good and there are no blown fuses. I am stumped!

Did you check to see if it had a rather large fuse in line with ,or on/near the positive battery terminal ? There shold be another fuse box under the hood.

first would be try to jump it.. clean the battery cables and check the belts if it does crank have it tested

it is possable the nutrule safty switch is bad. is the clutch pedel mashed all the way to the floor? cck main batt hot lead ,ck 10ga wire to alt see if it is burnt into. remove each cable one at a time clean good then reinstall .ck see if body to engine grounds are still connected,ck fuses with test light for current on bothof fuses with the switch in the on pos. could be bad battery they do just up and die like that. hope I helped you . i am a toyota man myself.

If the batery checks out, check the ground to the block. If it is loose then you get nothing.
