I have a 2007 Toyota Rav 4 and I'm trying to figure out what the noise is. The noise comes from the driver side. It's hard to explain but you only hear it when I drive and when I make any kind of turn, left or right.
Basically, when I make the turn it makes a "clack" noise and the wheel feels a little rough just before it's making the noise. When I turn right, it goes "clack", when I turn left it goes "clack" again.
I spoke to the dealer and JUST to diagnose the noise costs $95...rip off!!! Would anyone have any idea what the noise could be?
