My toyota corolla car keys remote is not works properly, only i can lock

the doors, cannot unlock using remote? so pls, advise me how can i come out of this problem..............others informed me to put a another remote alarm but i refused as i want to use the same original key remote................
 
Try using the key! It is the shiny thing you stick in the ignition.
Here is how it is done.
1. Take key out of pocket
2. Insert key into hole in door
3. turn key to the right
4. turn key left till it is straight up and down again
5. remove key by pulling
6. open door
I know it is much harder than pushing a button but you will be A OK!
