...for this problem? I have a Toshiba satellite laptop that i purchased in late 2008/early 2009, it is windows vista and has run perfectly up until about 2 weeks ago. I have scanned for viruses with Malwarebytes and Avira and they say there is nothing wrong. I am considering resenting it to factory settings but thought i should check first. I am thinking it is a problem with the hardware as i went traveling recently and the computer may have got knocked around a bit. I can get into my profile but after a short time the system just reboots. it works perfectly in safe mode but this is beginning to infuriate me. The problem started out as just an occasional thing, then the pc would sometimes reboot on the windows vista loading screen, but i would get in eventually. Now i cannot seem to use the machine for any period of time without it shutting down, however i can get to my desktop. I am absolutely dazzled as to the cause can anyone help?
