I have a 98 Ford Escort Zx2 that keeps eating timing belts soon after I put a new one on. I have replaced the tensioner and the two pulleys yet still have the same problem. I am stumped on this one and I was told I have to replace the head which I would rather not do seeing as it could be quite costly. If anyone has had this problem before or know how to fix it could you please help me?
My timing belt on my ford zx2 keeps shredding. How can I stop this?
