my tax return said that i could be claimed as a dependent, but my parents dont claim me?

so since my tax return said that, i didnt qualify for the stimulus check, is there any way to fix that? i tried calling the irs but ive been on hold forever and i keep getting the machine and i keep getting transfered and always hung up on, because of high call volume, so am i wasting my time or can this be fixed? thanx for any help.
