my t1 turbo on a 1991 dodge daytona is oil cooled can i put a intercooler on it?

the oil cooler cools and lubricates the turbo
an intercooler cools the air charge going into the engine from the turbo
the cooler the air into the engine the better add the intercooler
you should see better fuel mileage and power the cooler you can get the intake air charge
 
my 1991 dodge daytona shelby has a t1 turbo on it and its oil cooled i just wanted to know if i can put a intercooler on it cause i don't know if it is built to have water run through it somebody please help
