My Suzuki rm 125 won't start, what's wrong?

I was riding my 98 Suzuki rm 125 pretty much wide open and it just started boggling down all of a sudden and quit and now it won't start. It's not locked up but the compression seems different. And I have replaced the spark plug. Still no luck. It won't even spark though.

first, check spark plug and wiring that goes to it. next, check to make sure your engine didn't blow. if that's good, then check all engine seals and piston rings. from the sounds of it, you stater might be bad.

you may have blown your valve seals if the compression is different and if there is no spark then check your stator or alternator or what ever it is on your specific equipment. also check your wires to your spark plugs. You dont' need compression to get a spark.
