My Sunfire was totalled 2 weeks ago. With the news that Pontiac is no more,

would my car have been worth more? My 2002 Silver Pontiac Sunfire (2002) in perfect working condition and A-1 care (only 25,000 miles) was totalled by a teen driver 2 weeks ago. I've yet to enter into a binding agreement with the insurance company re: value of car. They have offered $7000. NOW, HOWEVER... Pontiac is to be no more... Does that raise the value of my car (had it not been totalled)?
