my subaru impreza uk turbo 2000 (v reg) has been standing for a month or so. i started it up the other day and had acceleration probs so did a diagnostics on it and it threw up a MAF sensor fault.
ive put a new maf on and no faults displayed now but when driving, just as it starts to boost i stutters and makes a chugging noise (sounds like from filter area). any way it will struggle past this and fully accelerate with boost but i cant work out why its struggling/chuggin??
as ive said its been standing for a while so could it be damp/condensation in engine/pipes/boost lines etc???
could it be stale petrol??
its nearly empty on fuel so was gonna bang some super unleaded in and let it warm right up then just give it a good drive about running it through boost.
anyone else had this??
