...really? I have a 95 Honda Accord 2.2 v-tec inline 4, and the egr valve was making it sputter not more than two months ago. So my cheap, genious plan was to go ahead and drive with it disconnected... because i'm so.... smart.. yeah..
so anyway, today I was driving down a small street, and accelerated a little quick, and it just went dead. It coasted a little ways, but the engine had stopped running, and hasn't started since. The spark plugs are new, and look great. Dis cap and dis are georgeous, and there is a faint smell of gas where the spark plugs plug into.. (im car illiterate, not sure what it's all called) I don't know if gas still comes through if it is the timing belt that has busted, does anyone know? If not, would it be the crank position sensor? and would that have something to do with my ingenious idea of driving without the egr valve connected? Or does anyone have any other ideas? much appriciated : D
