...post-university scholarships? While my loans have provided me with the education that I needed, they directly interfere with the sort of work I seek to do (community development in the developing world). I have looked at a few loan forgiveness programs online that don't appear to apply to me and was wondering if anyone had advice.
I refuse to work in the military, and wish very strongly to work in the field that I was trained in, rather than settling for some other career path just to pay the bills. I know all about Americorps, Peace Corps, and a few programs for teachers, but are those really my only options? Is anyone aware of any scholarship programs that exist to help repay or forgive student loans AFTER college?
