During school when I just don't have time to eat breakfast, my stomach makes these super loud grumbling noises after like 2 hours. I thought it was because I was hungry, but I realized that even when I DO eat breakfast, this happens. It's so embarrssing! Almost everyone in my claass can hear it if the room is silent. Wat is that? Is there something I can do to fix it? This is effecting me cause I'm always worried that it'll make a loud noise and I can't concentrate on my scool work. Thanks!

I had the same problem, it sucks especially during tests or lectures but I realized its mostly caused by my nerves. I always bring a bottle of water which seems to help. I bought some Gas X at Walmart, the kind that dissolves on your tongue, it helped me. Beano is ok, it seems to work for a lot of people but hasn't helped me much. The best thing is exercise and trying to relax. In the morning, the first thing you should eat is a piece of fruit because it has enzymes to help you digest. Yogurt has good probiotics in it too but caution it if you're lactose intolerant. Then make a bowl of porridge to eat- I read something about its beneficial fermented properties. Gas is also caused by breathing in a lot of air. Eat slowly and chew thoroughly. If all else fails, seek a meeting with a gastroenterologist. He/she can feel your stomach for excess air or cysts or give you an ultrasound or xray.
