my step bro died can u help find info on his death?

My step-brother Benjamin Peake drowned 10/25/07 at Doctors Pass Naples Fl I was not told until he was already cremated and scattered. I heard something on the news around that time that some one drowned by did not watch the storie now all I can find is his obit can anyone help DOB11/4/83
I've looked all over the internet and even tried to pull up a death certifacate i've check news papers and news programs and the only thing I can find is his little obit. i know there has to be more and I can't get ahold of his father for the info his family

First of all ,i am sorry to hear that you lost a brother.

To find info i would look in newspaper archives for a story on it, or on the website of the TV new station for a report archive.
You may also be able to get a death report from the local hospital if he was taken to one.

i hope your search finds something.
