My soon to be ex husband was served divorce papers in March. Per the law in Utah (where I am) he had 20 days to respond.
3 months later...
My attorney didn't file the paperwork stating I win by default since he didn't respond within the allotted amount of time. (I did not know about this rule previously.) I found out about a week ago from another attorney how I could've been done with this horrible, messy divorce ages ago by default.
Is there anything I can? I have the courts to prove it wasn't within the amount of time? But it has been months since, & we have done mediation etc since...
