my laptop originally had windows vista home (premium) and got some battery and hard disk problem so got its hard drive replaced and i had window 7 pro 64-bit installed on it. now the problem i'm having is likely with my drivers. that's the question. my built-in camera doesn't work even though the system automatically recognized it and is said to have installed the driver successfully. and the next major problem is it won't connect my wireless network. i got two vaio laptops and other devices connecting the wireless internet without a problem. first, it's said it has a wrong security type so i made sure everything was correct and it did work for 5 min or so and stopped connecting to internet. it can connect through Ethernet. i don't even see the available wireless networks now. and on the adapter properties, configure, advanced, i don't see the .... channel width for for band 2.4 as a property. i was thinking may be that missing was the problem and i can see the one for 5.2 band which will disable me seeing the available networks and thus blocking me from connecting to any of them. based on what i wrote down here, please help me out here.
my laptop is sony vaio vgn-fz240e
