my Sony Ericsson W580i displays "Please Wait" screen

My SE W580i phone continuously displays "Please Wait". I couldn't access my phone, which means no menu, phonebook, etc. I tried turning it off and on, also taking out the battery. Still no changes. Can you please help me. Thank you
 
It would be best to try taking out all prepherals, such as the battery, SIM card, memory card etc. This way it should refresh the phone's cache if it was trying to load data from one of those prepherals. Try putting the phone on charge, and also synchronising it with your PC to see if it gives it a kick. If none of these options work, it may be time for a re-flash ;) .
