I have a Sony Ericsson W810i, and it's been pretty fine over the 2 or so years I've had it (apart from one time the firmware was corrupted from connecting it to my computer and I had to replace the firmware).
But a few days ago, it was low on power so I turned it off incase I need it urgently later ; I've done this before, quite a few times, with no problems.
But now it won't turn on ; But it's not just simply refusing to go on. The infrared light flashes, and if I take the battery out and put it back in then try to turn it on, I get a white screen for about a second then it goes off. Strangely, this white screen only happens once every time I take out the battery and put it back in.
If I plug it into the charger, the infrared usually stays on for a while. I don't know how long but atleast a few minutes ; I leave it there and come back about an hour later and it's off again. It's pretty much the same when I plug it into my PC.
Sometimes the infrared flashes a few times, like a countdown, before the white screen comes up, when I'm holding the power button.
I've tried removing my SIM, removing my memory card, leaving it on the charger for a few hours (I know a drained battery can take up to 30 mins to turn on), but no luck.
