My Sony Cybershot DSC-W350 won't turn on?

On Saturday, I went to an amusement park with my friends. While there, I brought my DSC-W350, which, up until now, has served me well. It takes beautiful pictures, always works, and I've never had any problems with it. I've dropped it a few times (lightly) and it's worked fine. This time, however, I dropped it and it hasn't been working quite right since.

Now, it will at times, randomly shut off with the lens still out. And when you try and turn it back on, it will turn on so long as you have your finger on the power button. But, whenever you take your finger off the power button, it shuts off.

It appears to be bipolar, because there are times where it will work for 5 minutes or so with no problems whatsoever, but then it will decide to shut off again and leave the lens unprotected. I've tried everything to fix it and I have no idea what's wrong with it.

In addition, when you shake the camera, you can hear something moving inside. I'm unsure as to whether this happened before or not, but I assume that this is vital information.

Also, at times when I try to view the pictures I have taken, a message will appear saying that the data was not saved properly or something along those lines and it has to re-import the pictures.

Note: I used to own a Sony Cybershot DSC-W55. I've had for four years, and the thing still works like new. You can literally take the camera front off and see the inside because it's been dropped so many times, but it still works like a charm! I'm not impressed with the sudden decline in the newer model done by Sony. The DSC-W350 that I own is hardly 6 months old, and it's already broken after one minor fall? My DSC-W55 fell from a second story window and still works.

Either way, if anyone has had this problem and knows whether it's resolvable or not, that'd be fantastic. Any other information you need, just ask.
As of now, it isn't working at all. It will turn on so long as your finger is holding the power button down, but when you take your finger off the power button, it shuts down again. I have no idea what's wrong.
