My 12 year old son barely ever called me from sleepaway camp all summer. He was having such a great time. Now he wants to come home early. He told me he's been wetting his bed. (This has never happened to him before.) I think the other kids have been teasing him. The counselor took him to a doctor. The doctor said that he has a urinary tract infection, gave him some antibiotics. He said the bedwetting should clear up in a few days. Until then, he gave my son some free samples of bedwetter pants (diapers). Needless to say, my son doesn't want to wear them. I think he should just wear the special pants and take the antibiotics. There's no reason for him to miss the last few weeks of camp because of this. He wants to come home, but he might regret this decision later. What do you think?
My son started wetting his bed. Should I let him come home from summer camp early?
