I let him go? We live in Japan. He had lots of trouble with grades in school and never studied much. His records are all Cs and Ds. He is lazy at home too. He says he wants to go to community college in Hawaii but I am afraid he will not do well, especially since his English is not good enough. The college will take him and it is not terribly expensive. He says he will try but he is not even trying now to get ready by reading or letting me help (I am an English teacher). Should I let him go?
