my son gets dizzy and sick once every couple of weeks why

My 13 year old son gets really dizzy and nauseous about once every couple of weeks. He can't even stand up or he'll throw up. It happens the same way everytime, he wakes around 5or6 am and this is how he feels. He lies on the cold floor for relief. He feels cold to touch and when he does throw up it's a clear liquid and then he starts to feel better. Can someone help me find out what's wrong with him, I'm really worried. He's been for a cat scan, blood work and so on. He does have seasonal allergies and sinus problems.Could allergies have something to do with this? I really need answers. Concerned mom
 
Sorry to hear your son is feeling bad. When I was a teen I used to get headaches like this they are migraines.For me it has alot to do with hormone changes. Allergies and migraines do go hand in hand. Maybe you can get him on a migraine preventitive. Hope this helps. Keep us posted.
 
Did you throw up a clear substance like this too? It's starting to last a couple of days now. I will however mention that to his doctor. Thanks for your input.
