make an asp of himself? He has never been to a function of this scale before. The event might rattle him. He hasn't learn to use his knife and fork tongue very well yet and I am scared he might not viper his mouth properly
 
It's my understanding that snakes take it all in one bite, hold your breath and swallow, you may not taste much, but you will get full, and that should content you nonetheless!
 
I'd rattler you don't constrict his social life too much.
Make sure his garters are adjusted properly and hand him a napkin if you notice he gets a bit of cherry python his face.
