I am 14 and my parents wont let me do retail. My family loves pets, and my sister particularly loves birds. We live in a country town where poultry products are really important fast consumer products. My sister bought a lot of bird products at low prices and then sells them and makes a profit! She gets to keep her profit, cause my parents give her the money to buy her products. She's really successful for a 9 year old. She has a separate department in our store! Cause customers reckon shes so cute, and dad reckons shes a little protegee and what not. I want to sell stock products (e.g cattle and horse, sheep) which is a big industry as well. And I already know someone who sells them for low prices. Ive asked my parents if I cant start this up. And my ma and dad say "No, you are too immature to start this yet" and i bring up Lily and how come she can do it and SHES FREAKIN 9!! IM 14!! And they say shes a natural and really successful. You're not as successful as her. So I have to just clean up the store. Im not even allowed to work at the counter cause my dad says im not responsible round money. Why are they doing this. Dad says youre a good kid, but i just cant let you do it. I dont have a disability, Ive never stolen, I get As in school in every subject. Why wont they let me! Help please?
