She was in prison for theft, like stealing tv's and stuff.
She has three kids and my brother,(her boyfriend/husband) isn't financially providing for her. (He does drugs).
So i told her she should give up on him as far as providing an income and get a job herself. I told her that the state would help her with child care expenses.
She explained to me that no one will hire her with her criminal record.
Is this true? Is there any hope for her at all? There has to be places for ex-cons to work, right?
Can she still get a job despite her record?
