...herself. Now what.? Earlier today I drove out several hours to pick up my sister in-law who was in some kind of distress. Later today she was driving my wife's car with my wife as a passenger, told my wife to get out and drove the car off a cliff. She didn't get far and everybody's OK (she was stopped by a couple of trees just a couple yards in).

Aside from the larger issue of what to do about my sister in law (I don't really know her at all and welcome your comments) I'm trying to figure out what to do about the car. I think it's a more appropriate question for Y! Answers. Can we file a claim against her insurance even though it was intentional on her part? We are not going to file charges against her or anything but she totaled the car and it couldn't come at a worse time.

As for our insurance it is liability only so we do not have that to fall back on.

I've never had to file a claim since high school. I don't want to make any mistakes so thank you for your input.
