My Sigmatel Audio doesnt have any Stereo Mix option?

I heard that Sigmatel High Definition Audio Codecs are supposed to have a Stereo Mix. Mine don't have any. I checked the properties, and it clearly stated that my codec have a stereo mixer device.
is there a way to get/activate the stereo mixer option. I need for Fraps to record audio. Thanks
