My Sidekick LX09 won't turn on all the way?

This happened months ago I have another phone now but I want to get rid of it. When I try turning on the phone It will go to the loading screen where it shows the 4 icons but It will only show one icon, the first one, than freeze. It freezes at the same exact spot every time, on the first icon when you boot up on the phone. Does anyone know what Is wrong with it?
