...stop them or prevent them? I am a FT college student, who also owns my own home & I have 2 huskies from a preciously relationship. He left and ever since they have been eating the wall, couch, bamboo blinds, wooden stairs etc.. One is 2 years the other is 1 year, they are too old to start crate training plus I just can't do that anyway. I stop home in between classes just to check on them or go out & play fetch quick. They always have chewing bones. I make them bone marrows and give them the good stuff hoping it will prevent my furniture from being eaten. I also take them for a walk to a tennis court and they run around for 30 minutes straight 3 times a week in the court. They have a doggy door with a large backyard to run around in. One hole in my wall is almost 2 ft wide & a foot in a half tall, its near the front door. Any ideas?
Thank you.
I meant I take them to the tennis courts at least 3 times a week. However, you guys are right they still need more exercise..
Thank you so much for all your insight! It is greatly appreciated. I love my pups so much & would do anything to make them content. I tried the apple vinegar spray and the little one Khloe' actually followed me around while I sprayed it and was licking it after.. eyeyey
I may have to invest in the crate or doggie daycare sounded good.
Ps: Since they love to hibernate maybe the crate option will not be so bad...
