my siamese fighting fish is blowing bubbles!?

i have my betta fish with goldfish
HE DOES NOT HURT THEM THE GOLDFISH GO NEAR HIM AND HE JUST KEEPS SWIMING!
i have the bubbles on but he is like makeing a nest blowing bubble's everywere

he has been ill b4 but now is better than ever ..befor he stayed at the top on his side swimming and when he tryed to go down he just floted back up but he is swimming very gd now
anyways i was just woundering what to do with him if there something rong tell me what to do and

how do you reply to people on this yahoo?

The fish is bubblenesting. Males do this to show off, to establish territory, to show off to females when spawning and out of boredom. In this case it's probably territory related.

FYI, the reason he shouldn't be with Goldfish is he needs to be in around 78-80F while Goldfish are best kept at 68-72F. Also, an adult Goldfish would have no trouble eating a whole Betta (aka Siamese Fighting Fish)!! Juveniles can fin nip a Betta. The Betta is more likely to end up a victim in this set up than anything. I would get him his own tank, Goldfish need massive over filtered tanks anyway.
