Just recently, I got a Sony HT-CT150 soundbar for a present. I found out that I couldn't connect it to the Pioneer DVD player I had (required a HDMI cable and a player that would allow an HDMI cable) , and I had been meaning to buy a new DVD player anyway so I went ahead and bought a Philips DVP3560 and a Dynex HDMI cable. Plugged the Sony system in and my new DVD player in, and then I connected the the two with the HDMI cable. I tried a few DVDs out and they worked fine. I turned them off, came back and decided to try another DVD. The screen went black and white. At first I thought it was the Philips, but after toying around, I realized that the screen only went black and white when I turned the Sony sound system on. Does anybody have any idea how I can get this to stop?
