My school had a bomb threat, jizzing, and more in less than two weeks.

It's mid-term week here, and during a review in my LA History class, we got a notice to immediately evacuate. I was pissed because we were already behind and he was going to do some much needed catching up.

I noticed once I was outside that every building had been evacuated. Being an employee of the college and knowing procedure, I knew immediately what it was: a bomb threat. Now, mind you, our school is gun-shy but refuses to act on a bomb threat until reasonable evidence comes to light.

Last week, we had a guy jizz in some random girl's hair, two fights, the chancellor personally threatened by a former Library Club president which makes the formerly well renowned club look not so hot("If you don't give me my diploma, there will be more than just a shooting to worry about," said he), student worker hours were down-shifted from a 20 hour to 10 hour per week maximum, and the anti-smoking-SS came forth and fined the college over $40K for not obeying Louisiana's smoking prohibition - which IMO violates smoker's rights.

At this point, when I noticed the procedure, I took my time going down in a very exhausted way. I missed all my classes and missed work. The upside was I got to go hang out with some friends, but this still is most inconvenient to be occuring during mid-terms.

On a similar tangent, I'm not a believer in astrology per se, but I have noticed all this shit started happening right after the lunar eclipse a couple weeks ago...

Well at least it wasn't a real bomb.... ^^

Mid-Terms suck, but you'll have to put on extra work to catch up for the delay. Or if you get lucky, you can have an extension or something like that.
I remeber a couple of years ago, my University was blocked by a "student strike" (to keep it simple) we almost lost a month of classes. At the end, we had only 3/4 of the programs up for the final exams, and we had the choice to pass them either in June or September (normally exams are only in June)

we have peopel fucking around at my school too. We have had 6 threats in a week. it's starting to get old.

i hope everything in your school is all good and that nothing comes out of it :)
 
Wow. The worst I had was a knife attack about a mile away from the school. For some reason this made the school lock down for two hours, one of which was after school.

Anyways, hope your midterms go well despite the mini apocalypse.
 
The worst that ever happened to me in school was someone left a toolbox they were trying to steal in front of the office. I had to spend about a little over four hours in my band class.
 
Wow... sounds like school life isn't going very well.

To join in on stories from school, I'll add this. My senior year, we were in the last week of classes, and there was a stabbing on campus. The whole week was a fuck-off week for the seniors, and those with vehicles were allowed to drive off campus and go home early.

Everybody else got locked down until the busses / parents showed up to get them.
 
We had bomb threats all the time when I was in school but I liked it b/c we got to go hang out in the sunshine but that was highschool and not quite as important. Hopefully you will still do well in that class, you seem like a smart chap.:thumbsup:
