My Samsung Instinct will not turn on...!!!!!!?

I left it on a shelf in my room for about an hour, went into my room to pick it up to see if I had any new messages and now it will not turn on! I didn't get it wet, I also charged the battery even took the battery out for half an hour an it will still not turn on.

Please help with any suggestions thank you in advance!
