My Samsung Impression won't turn on?

My Samsung Impression is new. I just bought it a week ago. The phone was freezing from texting too many people so I turned it off, and tried to turn it on, figuring that it would work. But it won't turn on. I tried charging the phone, and I have tried to take the battery out and put it back in but it won't work. If this has happened to you or you know how to fix it, can you please help me! :-D
