My samsung dvd recorder drive wont open?

i opened it up because i herd something sliding around in there, and it was a small spring with two circle hooks at the end of them, my dvd drive wont open, but if i manuely open it, it will close if i press close, but will not open, does anyone know where to put the spring? The dvd recorder wont even work now (not even start and go to the menu) so how i fix? THANKS
