My Roommate Wastes Money Help?

My roommate refuse to use natural light (windows), instead runs the lights. On average we have two lamps on, and one set of strip lights that have 4 units on it. I want to explain or better give him a figure of how much were wasting. When I tell him this, he yells and says no you waste money by leaving my laptop on. Yes that may waste so money but not like running lights all day?

Why don't you get your own place than and you won't have to worry about the light bill being so high each month.

tell him to pay the electrc bill then..... my roommate refused to turn the fans off in his room.... so when the electric bill comes, i make him pay 3/4 of it.... he dosnet need to know how much my electric bill is really!!!!
