About 2 months ago my rat was attacked by another rat, and had open wounds all over her, (more than 15) they turned into puss pockets, which I lanced, and was able to heal. She does however have a wound on her leg that fills up with a clear fluid, when I have lanced it, it seems to cause her extreme pain, and just re fills up with this liquid.

She tolerated me draining the puss a lot better, than whatever this is now. there is a dime size scab over it as well and has expanded to the size and shape of a grape. I tried getting a refill on a antibiotic, from the vet that I think would help but they wouldn not do the refill unless I brought her in. Last time I did it cost $150 I barley have enouph money to pay for my own bills, long less a vet bill. I just can afford it so I have been trying over the counter stuff.

I have tried Epsom salt soaks, hydrogen peroxide, bag balm, neosporin, aquaphore, iodine, liquid anti bacterial soap, healing solution for open wounds for dogs, bactine, a and d ointment.backing soda, And I can not get the dang thing to dry up and heal..

I am looking for serious help, please don't tell me to put her down, or suggest anything I have already tried.. I just need real help.
neosporin is antibiotic ointment...
