I posted about my puppy's whining yesterday but I had another question. Last night was his first night here with me. He didn't sleep at all last night. He'd sleep for like 10-15 minutes at a time then wake up screaming and whining. Is this normal??? Will it get better with time?

I know exactly how you feel as this happened me when I got my dog!
I know its hard but you have to ignore it as it is just gettin used to its new place.
It will get get better quite quickly as long as you do not go to see your dog when it whines as you are showing your dog that when it whines, it gets what it wants.
To help the situation do not make a big deal when you leave it, just say something like "Good night" and cuddle or pet your dog for a few seconds. Another way to help is to put one of your own T-shirts that have been worn by you and put it in its basket, or wherever it sleeps, AS this will comfort your dog as it smells of You!
Hope I Have Helped (:

Your dog probably just needs to get used to you.

If it doesn't get better, ask a vet or someone that knows about dogs.

your puppy just misses its mommy.... I'd buy the mom and the whole litter if i could, but i couldn't afford it, but I'm sure the pup will get used to it and its new home over time, just cuddle with it and keep careful watch on it,hope I helped!

Yeah it's normal. Put him in a bed with a clock near by. The tick mimics his mothers heartbeat and usually calms them down.

it misses mommy and siblings. Try putting a small stuffed animal in w/your puppy or maybe a towel w/it's mom and siblings scent in there. Sometimes a ticking clock works too....good luck

edit: beware of puppy's in bed, the pee when they awake. I use to have to go outside several times a night to let them pee when they wake up.

Yes it's normal and will get better. Just be patient and within a week or so it'll get used to being there. It's missing its mom and littler mates.

Yeah very normal. First week or two with my puppy in his kennel he wouldn't be quiet! Ignore it because if you go down and comfort it then its gonna get worse when you leave. If your puppy doesn't have a kennel yet GET ONE!! Put a blanket over it but not so much that it gets hot and stuffy inside and put its favorite toys and some blankets inside. It usually takes like 1-2 weeks for your dog to stop whining. And if you want when its potty trained it can sleep with you. But it'll probably wake you up every 2-4 hours xDD
