My PS3 flashing green, yellow, red lights?

I was playing black ops and then my ps3 flashed the lights in order to a blinking red light. When I turned it on, everything was normal, but after I loaded black ops again it crashed again. How do I fix this? Is there a way without playstation support? I can turn it on for a few minutes but it crashes
