my ps2 wont let me play on my games?

my ps2 was working when i went to a different country and played there games it stopped working
 
i think the your system got trashed on the way there because all games are the same, just different langueges
 
There are two ways it might not work.

1: The scanner that scans the disk may be busted

2: Check for Scratches on the disc.
 
your lens might be covered in dust, trying taking the top off and GENTLY cleaning it with a Q-tip, or get a can of air and spray in the disc tray area.
