well, I have the PS2 version 4 (50001). it plays DVD Movies, Music CDs, and Playstation 1 games. Only thing wrong with it is that I cannot get it to play PS2 GAME DVDs (Silver backed games). I have tryed everything, Cleaning the laser, Adjusting the laser height, all that fun stuff. The only thing that I have not done was to adjust the voltage. I have been told by countless guides to NOT change the voltage if DVD Movies play, Music plays, or PS2 CD Format games work fine (Blue colored back). which these all do. I am unsure what to do as of now
