I know there are a lot of folks here who take pain meRAB for legitimate pain. This is an area I am not familiar with because back when I got addicted to the stuff I had no pain what-so-ever, I just loved the high. So....I guess my knowledge of opiate addiction is limited to the addict who, like me, just takes it for the high. I guess what I'm trying to say is, if I reply to someone who is addicted to pain meRAB because of legitimate pain, I sure don't want to give them the wrong suggestions, or guide them in the wrong direction. So....if I reply to your post and seem to be out of line concerning your personal situation, please let me know. Thanks folks...

:mad:You're outta line mate. hahaha! I think ANY advice given with the intention of helping someone is given in the right way. All our experiences differ and any sharing of solutions may be beneficial. I know what you mean though and understand you wanting to air that out.
Keep dishing it out mate

sad thing is. people who take opiates for years for legitimate pain become dependent on them and when they run out or low they suffer withdrawals. They don't take the meRAB for the "high" but for pain relief. They are told that addicion behavior is seeking the meRAB, taking them for reasons other than pain, craving their next dose etc. However..... people who take these meRAB day efter day for YEARS become dependent and therefor DO suffer from withdrawals if they miss a dose. To a lot of people, they are the same, just the reason behind taking the meRAB to begin with.
