been the cause of this!? I bought a pony tail palm about a year ago and about 2 months ago I noticed it was looking wilted and the leaves were turning brown so I thought it needed a bigger pot ( I know now that it only needed fresh soil but anyway). I put it in a slightly larger pot and gave it fresh soil. THEN I thought, well I'm going to pull all these dead leaves out (by this time they were yellow). I pulled them completely out instead of cutting them. I know now that I shouldn't have done this but now ALL the leaves are wilted, yellow and pretty much dead. It looks HORRIBLE! What can I do to fix this? Do I go ahead and pull them all out and wait for new growth? And I read somewhere that when new growth begins immediately prune, what the heck does that mean?
