My Pokemon Platinum game seems to be corrupted.?

When my little brother was trying to play his Platinum game,something popped up on the screen.It said "The save data could not be accessed.Please turn the power off and reinsert the DS game card."

However,we done this many times and cleaned it out a lot of times,and it's still not working.Any ideas about this?
