Blue
Kind of grey
big and open
medium length eyelashes
looking tired
but still happy and unique
but timid
no make-up, just natural
sometimes red with tears
or anger
sometimes confused
looking through things,
young and clear but unfocused
finding beauty that others pass by
Windows to my soul.
Brown
Clouded with age
Bushy Black eyebrows
smiling, pensive
eager to learn
eager to teach
short eyelashes
drooping at the edges,
bears the scars of a lost love
wise, caring, and open
looking directly into your eyes
Windows to my grandfather's soul.
Brown
with flecks of green
short eyelashes coated in mascara
perfectly groomed eyebrows
tired...exhausted
smiling when happy
squinted, brow furrowed when angry or serious
intelligent, modest
Searching for answers
Windows to my mother's soul.
Blue
long, light brown eyelashes
too much make-up
smart, scanning, giving up too easily
smiling and laughing hysterically
becoming angry easily
loving towards friends and family
judging books by their covers
then caring too much what they think
Looking at herself in the mirror,
Windows to my best friend's soul.
Green
long eyelashes
thick eyebrows
surrounded by olive skin
usually irritates with me
lively, easy to smile
young, but old for her age
reading a book,
Windows to my sister's soul.
thanks for reading
